Green, yellow, red
Speaking clubs and conferences often show speakers coloured signals: green while there is plenty of time, yellow when it is time to wrap up and red when time is almost over. This timer does the same on a full screen, so the speaker can see it from the stage without checking a watch.
How it works
- Set the talk length, the time left when it should turn yellow and when it should turn red.
- Press start. The screen stays green, turns yellow, then red.
- At zero it keeps counting and shows overtime, such as +0:42, until you stop it.
Tips
Put a tablet or laptop facing the speaker, or show the timer on a second screen. For a 10-minute talk, yellow at 2 minutes and red at 1 minute left works well. Rehearse with the timer so you know where you should be at each colour.

Questions and answers
What do the colours mean?
Green: on time. Yellow: start wrapping up. Red: finish now. After zero the timer counts overtime.
Can the speaker see it from a distance?
Yes. In full screen the whole display changes colour, which is easy to see from a stage.
Does it make sounds?
A soft tone plays when the colour changes and a chime sounds at zero. Turn sound off in Settings for silent use.
